Soltour has expanded its summer 2026 programme to the Balearic Islands, increasing direct flights from Porto and Lisbon to Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, Publituris reports.

The tour operator said the move reflects continued demand among Portuguese travellers for short-haul Mediterranean destinations with direct air links.

Flights to Mallorca are available from Porto with Air Nostrum, which operates up to six weekly services until 21 September, while easyJet offers up to four weekly flights from Lisbon until 19 September.

Menorca is also available from both cities, with Air Nostrum offering up to six weekly flights from Porto until 21 September and easyJet operating up to three weekly flights from Lisbon until 16 September.

For Ibiza, Vueling offers Saturday flights from Porto until 5 September, while TAP offers up to four weekly flights from Lisbon until 22 September.

The archipelago a safe choice for families according to Luís Santos, Commercial Director of Soltour for Portugal and Spain: “The Balearic Islands continue to be one of the most consistent destinations in our operation for the Portuguese market. The combination of proximity, direct connections and diversity of experiences, from Mallorca to Formentera, makes this archipelago a safe choice for families as well as those seeking a more tranquil summer,” says Luís Santos, Commercial Director of Soltour for Portugal and Spain.

Beyond the summer season, Soltour said it will continue to offer year-round connections to the Balearic Islands during the 2026–27 winter season, with departures from Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal and Ponta Delgada through a range of partner airlines.
