The last time we visited Tavira was during the winter, on a rainy day. Tavira was still beautiful, but on a warm summer evening it had a completely different atmosphere. The streets were busy, people were sitting outside the cafés and restaurants, and there was plenty going on around the river.
Tavira is one of those Algarve towns where you can easily spend a few hours just walking around. I love the traditional buildings, the little streets around the historic centre, and especially the small shops selling local products. Some of them are really unique, and you can find things here that you don't often see elsewhere in the Algarve.

We also stopped for a drink and a coffee at one of our favourite places, Belem Brunch Bar, close to the Roman Bridge, before continuing our walk through Tavira.
