Drawing on key elements of the club's history, the new identity centres on five defining symbols: the shield, the SCP crown, the lion, the iconic green and white stripes, and Porta 10 A. The updated shield takes inspiration from Sporting's 1945 emblem, while the redesigned lion incorporates features from different periods of the club's evolution, creating a modern interpretation of one of Portuguese sport's most recognisable symbols.
