“With just over 30 days to go until the festival, we are revealing the new line-up, with the big confirmation of Muse for July 12, on the NOS Stage”, says promoter Everything is New, in a statement.

The band led by Matt Bellamy will replace the North American band Kings of Leon, who cancelled their European tour due to an injury to their lead singer, Caleb Followill.

Muse, formed in 1994, has been to Portugal several times, mainly in the context of a festival, the last in 2022, at Rock in Rio Lisbon, replacing Foo Fighters.

The 17th edition of NOS Alive will take place on July 10, 11 and 12, at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, in Oeiras.

On the last day, in addition to Muse, Nine Inch Nails, Future Islands, Foster The People, Bright Eyes, Jet, A-Trak, Left., Bombazine, Luís Severo, Teresinha Landeiro, Cebola Mol, Jel and Ana Arrebentinha, among others, will also perform.

Tickets for the first day, July 10, which will feature American Olivia Rodrigo as the main attraction, are already sold out.

The lineup for that day also includes Benson Boone, Parov Stelar, Nathy Peluso, Glass Animals, iolanda, Baleia Baleia Baleia, Girls96, Libra, Diogo Clemente, Pedro Moutinho, Guilherme Duarte and Mónica Vale de Gato, among others.

On July 11, the highlight will be American DJ Anyma. Also confirmed are performances by Justice, Girl in Red, Finneas, St. Vincent, Capicua, Mother Mother, Mike11, Herlander, Zarco, Luísa Amaro, Luís Franco Bastos and Guilherme Fonseca, among others.

The venue will once again have seven stages, one of which is dedicated to Comedy.
