The event, which is the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Lagoa and the IPDJ, departs from Largo da Praia, where registration also takes place, starting at 9am on the day.

The non-profit event aims to “encourage residents to increase their levels of physical activity in order to improve their general health”, says the municipality in a statement.

Included in the IPDJ Regional Marches-Races calendar, this walk will pass through the streets of Praia do Carvoeiro, on October 29th, starting at 10 am, with the possibility of two routes: 5 and 10 kilometres.

Registration can be done via email at sdm.secretaria@cm-lagoa.pt or in person at the Municipal Services Secretariats, Unions and Parish Councils, or on the day at the walk location.

The Municipality advises that people bring their own water.
