In the first quarter of the year, over 11,000 vehicles were registered in the archipelago for rent-a-car activities, distributed among more than 170 licensed companies, which generated approximately €17 million.

These measures include restrictions such as a licensed parking space with a minimum capacity of between 20 and 40 percent of the total fleet size for each operator, to be defined by decree.
