Due to uncertainty in fuel prices caused by the conflict in the Middle East, Ryanair has reportedly warned passengers that they may see higher ticket prices and a lower frequency of flights to reduce operating costs.
Ryanair, which operates mainly in Europe, generally records losses between November and March. In general, the company acknowledges that it records losses between November and March, due to low demand compared to the peak summer season. In this sense, Ryanair announced a possible reduction in its winter schedule, aiming to reduce losses by between €70 million and €100 million.
The carrier has also reportedly warned that fares for short-haul flights in Europe may increase if oil prices remain at current levels until the summer of 2027.
