From Portugal, the bus operator’s network now connects to over 200 international destinations across seven countries, reinforcing its territorial cohesion strategy by adding new stops, such as Portalegre, Sertã, and Vila Nova de Gaia, to a seasonal, cross-border night route.

For 2027, the company plans to add more than 20 new locations in the country’s interior.

The operational boost is particularly significant in the Algarve, where capacity has grown by 30% compared to the pre-summer period and by 9.6% compared to the same period in 2025.

Lisbon and the Algarve

The route between Lisbon and the Algarve region features 270 daily trips, including new direct connections from Sintra, Cascais, and Almada to Albufeira and Faro, as well as increased service frequency to Andalusia (destinations such as Seville, Málaga, and Huelva). In terms of travel habits, Albufeira, Lagos, and Faro rank highest among passengers departing from the capital. However, the Lisbon-Porto connection remains the most popular in the domestic network, with 196 daily trips during the summer.

International demand also remains strong; one in three tickets booked on the national network originates from abroad, with the highest numbers of customers coming from Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy. Conversely, the Spanish market dominates the preferences of passengers departing from Portugal, accounting for nine of the ten spots in the ranking of most-booked international routes, led by the Lisbon–Madrid connection and featuring a strong presence of Seville and Vigo, with Paris appearing as the only destination outside the Iberian Peninsula in the top 10.
