The second edition of Portimão FoodTruck will take place from 20 to 23 August at the Zona Ribeirinha de Portimão, following the success of the first event held in the city last summer.

Visitors will be able to try a variety of food from different trucks, with both Portuguese and international flavours represented throughout the event.

The festival is not only about food, with a programme of live music and entertainment also planned across the four days.

The event begins on Thursday, 20 August, and will continue until Sunday, giving residents and visitors another option for an evening out in Portimão during one of the busiest months of the year.

The location along the city's riverside means visitors can combine the festival with a walk along the waterfront or through the centre of Portimão.

Last year's inaugural Portimão FoodTruck also took place in the riverside area and brought together national and international street food concepts. The first edition ran for four days at the end of August 2025.

This year, the festival returns slightly earlier in the month and once again combines food with entertainment in an open-air setting.
