The venue, which many people will remember as Kadoc, has been part of the Algarve nightlife scene since 1990. It became LICK Algarve in 2017 and is now preparing for its final event after more than three decades of parties at the site.

LICK Algarve will hold its final party on Saturday, 22 August, with Spanish DJ and producer Paco Osuna joined by Ilario Alicante and Rafa Barrios for the club's last night.

The final event, “LOOP presents NOW HERE by Paco Osuna”, brings together LOOP and NOW HERE, the concept created by Paco Osuna.

Summer farewell

Barlavento reports that around 80% of the capacity for the closing party has already sold out.

The closure was first announced in May, when LICK revealed that summer 2026 would be its final season.

The club has marked its last summer with a programme developed in partnership with FABRIK Madrid, bringing several international names to the Algarve. The summer line-up has included Fatima Hajji, Joseph Capriati, The Martinez Brothers and Masaka Africana.

For many people, however, the venue is still associated with its original name, Kadoc. The club became particularly well known during the 1990s and 2000s and was part of the growth of the Algarve's nightlife scene during this period.
