Located within the Algarve Marriott Salgados Resort & Spa and inspired by the Japanese concept of kanjo – meaning emotion – the restaurant offers a sensory dining experience in which every detail has been carefully designed to create memorable moments. In an elegant and intimate setting, Eastern tradition meets innovation, resulting in a menu that celebrates fresh ingredients, refined techniques and a harmonious fusion of Asian flavours with Portugal’s rich culinary heritage.

The new season introduces a selection of dishes that embody this philosophy, including Tuna Usuzukuri with Algarve-Style Leche de Tigre (€22) and Tempura Cod Bao with Asian Pickles (€19), perfect for sharing. Signature main courses include Sea Bass with Teriyaki Sauce (€33), served with sautéed bimi and yam purée, and Black Angus Omaha Sirloin (€38). The meal is rounded off with desserts that reinterpret familiar flavours, such as Burnt Pastel de Nata Crème Brûlée with Ginger and Mango, Turmeric, Passion Fruit and Yuzu Parfait (€12).

The experience continues with a carefully curated drinks menu featuring signature cocktails inspired by contemporary Asian mixology. Created with a focus on balance, seasonality and precision, they showcase ingredients such as yuzu in the vibrant and refreshing Kaigun (€14), matcha in the Matcha Margarita (€15), alongside Japanese sake, wasabi and oriental spices, offering pairings thoughtfully designed to complement the restaurant’s culinary concept.
