The 45th edition of FATACIL – Lagoa's Crafts, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry Fair – will run until 30 August at the Municipal Fair and Exhibition Park.

The fair brings together exhibitors from a wide range of sectors, from local producers and artisans to businesses, restaurants and agricultural organisations.

Equestrian events and traditional entertainment also form part of the programme.

Entertainment

Interest from exhibitors has been particularly strong this year. Barlavento reported that all available spaces in the restaurant and handicraft areas were filled during the first application phase, along with most of the spaces dedicated to commerce and industry.

Music will once again be a major part of FATACIL, with a different headliner each night.

Tony Carreira will open the programme on 21 August, followed by M80 on 22 August and Linkin Park tribute band Hybrid Theory on 23 August.

Vizinhos will perform on 24 August, followed by Plutónio on 25 August, Sara Correia on 26 August and Quim Barreiros on 27 August. Richie Campbell takes to the stage on 28 August, Nininho Vaz Maia on 29 August, and Os Quatro e Meia will close this year's fair on 30 August.

The full programme is available on the official FATACIL website.

Regional businesses

FATACIL is organised by Lagoa Council and has become one of the municipality's biggest annual events, combining entertainment with a showcase of regional businesses, agriculture, gastronomy and traditional crafts.

The 2026 edition also comes after FATACIL received the Cinco Estrelas Regiões award earlier this year, recognising the event in the Festivals, Fairs and Pilgrimages category.
