A new Impossible Coffees edition has arrived at Delta Coffee House Experience stores, this time originating from the mountains of Gaitania, in the Tolima region of Colombia.
This limited-edition coffee is born from the courage, resilience, and vision of a generation of young people from the Nasa We’sx Indigenous community who chose to turn uncertainty into opportunity. Remaining in a region marked for decades by armed conflict and rural exodus, these young entrepreneurs, united through the ASOCANAFI association, created the YUPPIE (Young Professional People) project and dedicated themselves to revitalizing coffee production. For their land and their future, this is yet another proof that there are no impossible coffees.
"I want my family, my children, and my community to carry on the legacy of this coffee," says Eider Socorreño Palya, Director of the YUPPIE project.
The Coffee from the Nasa We’sx Indigenous Community reinforces the brand’s commitment to supporting local coffee producers and joins the Impossible Coffees portfolio, which already includes the first and only Portuguese coffee, grown in the Azores; Catoninho Coffee from São Tomé and Príncipe; Amboim Coffee, known as “the courage coffee of Angolan women”; and Forest Coffee from Toki, sourced from the mountains of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.

In line with the principles that guide the Impossible Coffees project, this Colombian edition also stands out for its sustainability credentials. The coffee travelled from Colombia to Europe by sailing vessel, crossing the Atlantic with a carbon footprint 70% to 90% lower than conventional transport methods. It carries the Fresh Coffee Clean Ocean (FCCO) certification, guaranteeing sustainable transportation without the use of heavy fuel oil, helping to protect oceans and marine biodiversity.
The journey took approximately twenty days, with carefully controlled temperature and ventilation conditions that preserved the quality and freshness of the beans.
Further reinforcing its commitment to the future of the Nasa We’sx Indigenous Community Coffee, 10% of sales from this special edition will be donated back to the community.
Available from today in Delta Coffee House Experience stores in Lisbon, Porto, and Paris, as well as through the online store, this new limited edition forms part of the Impossible Coffees entrepreneurship and social activism project. The initiative showcases the stories of extraordinary individuals who believed in themselves and their dreams. The result is a collection of rare coffees sourced from small-scale productions across different regions of the world.
"This new Impossible Coffees edition was born where many would see limitations, but where courage chose to stay. In Gaitania, Colombia, a new generation decided to invest in the future of their land, transforming resilience into opportunity and tradition into innovation.

Each cup celebrates the power of believing, even when the path seems unlikely, and proves that when there is courage and dedication, there are no impossible coffees—only extraordinary stories waiting to be discovered.
This coffee is a living expression of Delta Coffee House Experience’s ongoing commitment to origins, communities, and stories that deserve to be told. As with previous editions, it reinforces our mission to give a voice to small producers and to bring our consumers unique, rare experiences with a greater purpose," says Clara Melícias, Director of Delta Coffee House Experience Stores and E-commerce at Grupo Nabeiro.
