As urban spaces are usually seen as a concrete jungle, it is surprising to find a cafe and restaurant to be able to harvest their own crops right in the centre of town. Following the resounding success of their initial café in the trendy Príncipe Real neighbourhood, Ukrainian founders Dmitriy Burovik and Alina Moleshtianu have brought their signature concept straight to the heart of Saldanha.

Their first cafe was a smaller space, but this new one features a spacious terrace and a massive, lush garden. This outdoor sanctuary serves as a living pantry for Chef Andrii Boyarskiy, who carefully cultivates fresh herbs and greens on-site to incorporate directly into his vibrant dressings and seasonal dishes.

Alongside a world-class selection of speciality coffee, matcha, and breakfast icons like the Zucchini Waffle or a fiery house-made Kimchi Melt, the larger Saldanha location introduces an elevated €15 lunch menu. Hungry patrons can indulge in hearty options ranging from French Chicken with potato purée to a rich Mac and Cheese topped with shrimp yakitori. To sit on this pet-friendly patio garden is like taking a break from the city with a side of house-fermented gastronomy.
